Diving and Snorkeling
The entire east coast is known for its fascinating diving and snorkeling sites, see Amed - Dive Sites of Bali. The villages between Amed and Banyuning host a number of dive centers that offer diving courses, trips to the various sites as well as equipment, also for snorkelers. Most of them provide a free transfer service from/to the accommodation. Find out more about the various suppliers over the internet and take your pick before you leave in order to enjoy those precious holiday moments right from the start.
The Amed coast comprises many small and large bays, often with sandy beaches and always with a public access. As mentioned earlier, you can also snorkel at the reef in front of the villa. In any case, please avoid the sea during windy and stormy weather and do not go alone without anyone's knowledge. The currents can sometimes be unpredictable -- and you most certainly want to get back to where you started from!
