The beach is not private but used by fishermen and their traditional fishing boats called Jukung. Experience the authentic Bali when the fisherman return with their catch in the morning and pull in the boats to the shore together. Beautifully painted and customized for their owners, the Jukungs form a unique setting along the shoreline.
During the day the beach is all yours. Shallow and uncomplicated, access to the sea is perfect for swimming and splashing about, while snorkelers need just to go a few metres from the beach to find an absolutely delightful underwater reef world. Our reef is largely intact and offers a variety of corals, fish, molluscs and other marine life.
The villa is located in Banyuning, a fishing village about 8 km south of Amed village. Away from hordes of tourists, the village has a selected number of small hotels, villas and restaurants. The originality of the beach and the hilly hinterland, made from the foothills of the volcano Gunung Agung, are its main charm. Here, rural Bali is widely untouched and the village community unaltered with its inhabitants practicing daily religious rituals and ceremonies with much devotion.
